How long does your repair service take?
This depends on which service you book and what Paul finds when he assesses your bike. But an estimate when thinking about booking a time would be to give it about an hour and half for an Intermediate Service, a couple of hours for a main service or for an overhaul service Paul might suggest to take the bike back to the workshop. This then enables him to use more equipment and give the bike a good clean.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We can take cash, card or bank transfer. If paying by card however there is a small service charge to cover the charges we are asked to pay by the card machine provider. Paul has the card machine with him and you can pay there and then.
Where do you source replacement parts?
This depends on what the part is and who sells it. Parts are often out of stock and it can take a decent chunk of time for Paul to spend sourcing parts your bike may need. He will always discuss with you the different pricing options and different parts depending on your budget. One of the main suppliers in the UK is Madison but we also use Hope Technology, Raleigh, Moore Large and Chicken Cycles to name just a few.
How far do you travel?
We normally travel around approximately a 16 mile radius but this can depend on the job. If the job is for a corporate client then we may travel a further distance. We also consider jobs which take us beyond the 16 mile radius but would then charge 25p per mile on top of the final bill. Our main areas of work are Towcester, Silverstone, Brackley, Buckingham and corporate clients in Milton Keynes.
What if I can't be home for the time you need to take?
Don't worry we can take the bike back to the workshop and deliver it back to you at a convenient time for you.
I don't know what needs doing I just know something isn't right - what do I do?
Send in a request a quote form and we can then give you a ring to discuss things. Depending on where you are located Paul might pop over to have a quick look and to advise you of what needs doing before booking anything in. If you are more than just a couple of miles away we would charge a £10 call out charge but you can ask Paul about this when you speak to him.
